Human Experience

You are more than human. You may not believe it, you may not like it, but it is how it has always been so why should we hide from it?

There are many religions and beliefs all through out our culture which address the idea that our reality is an illusion. The idea of Maya which is found in Buddhism, Hinduism, Janism, Sikhism, Gnosticism and even in Quantum Mechanics with Albert Einstein himself quoting, "Reality is an illusion; albeit a very persistent one." Even Richard Feynman tossed the idea, "We have an illusion that we can do any experiment that we want." And many more quantum physicists address this idea.

There is a lot of supporting evidence in quantum mechanics that is revealing that physical reality is not physical at all, that it may be a hologram or a virtual reality. Modern science is starting to catch up with the esoteric ideas found in many religions... why? Because it is the absolute truth.

Our reality is virtual. It is a simulation. But it's more than just that as you and I exist within it and are ourselves part of reality. There is no doubt that while we are alive and having this experience with reality; there is no permanence in the experience. We age, wither and die. When we die, the stage of life collapses. However, you will find in kind, that there is a continuity of yourself. That death is not the end but a new beginning.

So why is reality virtual? If it is, there must be some evidence revealing that physical matter is not the absolute measure of materialism and that it has a flaw that exposes non-physical attributes. Let's examine this and understand it because this is exactly how reality works.

The first glimpse into the virtual nature of reality comes from particle-wave duality. To fully understand what this enigma is, you need to know that a solid particle such as an electron or photon can be either a solid particle, or a wave (not solid). When the particle is not being observed, it appears as an interference pattern in a state known as superposition. But when it is being observed, this causes quantum decoherence and the interference pattern collapses (as it no longer is observed as evident in the fact it now produces particles in experimentation). The double-slit is famous for revealing this mystery and it troubled Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman so that they make such "absurd" quotes even hinting that reality is an illusion.

It is spooky action from a distance which troubles materialists as it exposes another set of laws which physicists are struggling to understand. Max Tegmark asserts that particle-wave duality is resolved as the known criteria for this to occur is called measurement. When a measurement is taken, particles behave as particles. Even another photon could cause decoherence when it encounters another photon. His way of eliminating the idea that it's not conscious awareness in the human observer causing wave-function collapse. Which is also something that I agree with.

But what Max doesn't understand, nor did Einstein or Feynman is that in a virtual reality this behavior is expected. If we look at particle-wave duality with the model of a virtual reality and apply the Law of Information Conservation - which is the system does not need to render all the data rather only the data that is being accessed.

Then we have at the quantum level a particle which is information (wave) that is not being access, so the system is not rendering the particle. When the information that this particle represents is being accessed, the system must "RENDER" the particle. The measurement problem is solved in virtual reality theory elegantly. Information that is not being accessed is not rendered. When information is being accessed, it is rendered. How this equates to particles is observed in the double-slit in how measuring the information of the particle causes the system to render the particle.

There is no refuting argument that I know of which can nullify this theory as virtual reality theory not only addresses particle/wave behaviors but predicts them. Virtual reality theory also predicts other spooky-action from a distance effects such as quantum teleportation, quantum entanglement. A very good paper on how this is so was written by Brian Whitworth from Massy University who is the head of the Mathematics department in his paper: "The Physical World as a Virtual Reality" which can be read here: [link to arxiv.org]

So, the ancient mystics, the modern physicist and mathematician is calling reality an illusion? Is this just by chance? Or are we really looking at something more valid to the actual nature of reality then what we believe?

When you start to apply the idea that you live in a virtual reality to basic principles of virtualism, you can see rather quickly how it is so. For example, we exist in a third-dimensional reality in a first-person perspective. The third-dimension mathematically is easy to simulate. In fact, it naturally emerges from geometric theory as if a universal law exists stating that once you have length/width/depth you have the third dimension. In Cartesian mathematics that is represented by XYZ, and that is all that it takes to start plotting vectors in illusionary 3D space.

Computers using this simple Cartesian 3D number system can simulate near perfectly the observable world in an illusionary way. But don't stop at the computer. You are doing this right now and probably don't even realize you are doing it.

Not only does virtual reality explain what our reality is... but it also explains how we observe our reality. If you cannot accept that your physical world is a digital rendering, what about the world that your mind is telling you it sees?

Prove me wrong, that virtual reality theory does not apply to how you observe reality. Try to invalidate it. Refute it after I explain it simply for you.

What you see of reality is not the objective world; rather it is a filtered down sensory approximation of reality. Your body through the senses downloads information in the form of energy from the objective world. The eyes for example take in light. Light is then converted into electrochemical signals sent to the back of the brain to the occipital lobe where the brain then "processes" the sensory "information" and "renders" a visual model. The Middle Temporal Complex or MT+ has been identified as the part of the brain that processes that visual information into a 3D simulation of space.

After all, the distance you see that you think is outside of your body rendered in your brain really is a simulation of 3D space projected as an overlay, like a hologram. The sensory model of reality known as the phaneron, or the Cartesian Theater really exists. You exist within it as the observer. This phaneron, or virtual reality rendering of sensory information acts as an interface between you the mind and the body to navigate through the observable world. Without it you would be greatly impaired. Don't believe me that your brain is rendering reality? Just close your eyes and continue reading.

Virtual reality also describes how we experience reality as the mind through the interface of our body. What the mind produces is a perfect working example of virtual reality in living systems. And it is like a fingerprint meaning that it has unique qualities subjective to you. For example color blindness causes a person to have a different view of the observable world than a person without color blindness. This sensory quality is also known as Qualia. Qualia is the experience of reality as described by the senses and explains why some people like the taste of chocolate where as others prefer vanilla. Each of us have a subjective experience with the observable world. This holds true to insects, animals and plants. How they see the world based on their sensory limits describes in their own virtual reality rendering a unique model of the world.

I call this the subjective paradox in that the observer able world can only every be observed subjectively and through limited sensory constraints and the neurology that processes that sensory information. Virtual reality theory doesn't just stop at explaining our sensory experience of reality but we see it in action when we dream.

Dreaming is another perfect example of virtual reality at play in that a dream world is nothing more than a simulated environment. It is a mind-generated virtual reality. Thus we should not ignore the role that virtual reality plays as we engage it both when we are awake and when we dream at night. It is how our reality is described.

And the physical world is no less described by this model in that it too shows properties of virtualism from information access, information processing and information rendering. The physical world itself is being rendered by an information system.

So what is the cosmic computer running the simulation? That is where physicists and mathematicians will have to look next once they over-come the paradigm shifting realization that reality is indeed virtual and simulated. That we are living in a "rendered" reality, not a physical reality. A truth that has been exposed but difficult to swallow for staunch materialists who cling to their dying paradigm like Flat Earth believers which until that paradigm shifted was a Universally believed idea. No matter how much they wanted to believe that idea, the truth always reveals itself. The same will hold true in this old paradigm of materialism where we believe the observable world to be something "other" than a rendered by-product of information processing. That particles are in fact a rendered entity derived and described from information.

This merger into virtualism will no doubt have religious people proclaiming that it's proof of God or other cult beliefs that aliens built a virtual reality simulation and we are running on some powerful computer somewhere in some super-advanced alien technology. The search for the computer will be one of the hard questions when the undeniable truth of our virtual reality comes full spectrum into every facet of science. And that paradigm is shifting today in modern experimentation and theory that better describes the function of the physical world using a virtual model.

But... I'll let you in on the answer as it may take many more generations of scientists and close but not close enough ideas to describe this idea. The cosmic computer running the simulation is you.

How is that so? You probably don't think of yourself as something that possesses this ability to simulate reality so convincing and real that it can dupe you into not seeing that you are simulating it at all. So we need to baby step and see in action how you already simulate vivid realities naturally and to do so we need to look at the process of dreaming from a created phenomena which you are guilty of creating during sleep.

Dreams when you are in them likely convey such a tremendous realism that you do not believe it to be a dream until such a time that you wake up. You are already happily tricking yourself into seeing a dream as a reality until the give-away is revealed upon waking. Look at how many times in your own dreams that you have thought it to be real.

This process of creating a dream is not something to ignore and laugh at. It is not some childish behavior. It is a creative process. A force within you that grants you an ability to create a virtual reality effortlessly. Forget the content, look at the mechanics and function required to pull off this ability to produce something as amazing as a dream reality.

The same principles of perception also apply to the dream world. Not only do you simulate all the dream characters, the dream setting, the dream sky, the dream sun, the dream moon, the dream stars but you simulate a personal avatar within the dream by which to experience it as if you had physical senses.

Your dream avatar (body) has eyes that look around. It has ears to hear the sounds and you can even feel and taste in this simulated dream world. You already possess the ability to create a type of reality and likely never gave yourself any credit or interest in that you do it at all. But that is who you are. A dreamer. One who dreams dreams.

This dreamer is where you can also see your own potential to be a type of God. If you are looking for a creator who is creating a reality then look no further than the creator you are in how you create your own dreams and see for yourself what God feels like.

Now to even deepen the truth that you are already creating reality through dreaming some of you likely have had deja vu linked to past dreams. Where you dream of an event for a period of time. Wake up with memory of it. Maybe write it down, or tell friend/family member and to your shock and awe what you dream literally comes true in the future. Bingo...

You are now seeing in action a relationship between the observable world and the dream world. This precognitive ability you have is a demonstration of this greater truth of the cosmic computer running the simulation. It is why I am telling you... that you are the computer when we all go seeking it in the future. Like all dreams, even the precognitive ones... you are creating them. We all are.

This creative process is a universal constant of what you really are as some awareness having a human experience. It is the part of you that already exists outside the limits of physical space/time. That can already see itself in a future that it is creating. The dreamer not only dreams dreams, but dreams the dream that comes true. So who are you? What are you really? If this is at all some measure of truth for you?

What is dreaming the future telling you about yourself and your relationship to reality? If you have gone there, and tumbled down that rabbit hole then the idea that our physical reality is an extension of our dreamworld is not so irrational and unbelievable. It is fundamental.

And this is why I can tell you that you are having a human experience; but are not entirely the human that you think you are. Rather, you are part of this creative force producing reality simulations along side of others just like you (because they are you, and a part of you) as a unified universal self.

It is here we step away from the religious and scientific debate over God and poke God in the eye. Know yourself. Know what you really are; and not what you have become. What you are is a creative force quite capable of creating not just a dream reality when you sleep, but entire Universes that span the death and birth of bodies you become to role-play in this grand game of creation.

I can get into the more technical details of how you existed before this life. How you put a part of your awareness into the physical dream to have a human experience and when you die how you will wake up (as if life itself was a dream) continuing on as you always have in an absolute, eternal and infinite measure of your true self.

So why the game of life? Why put up with all the strife, struggle and hardship? Come at this from a creative opportunity like a kid to a cosmic arcade who knows it can roll a human character to play for a lifetime and have all manners of experiences based on the game. How more exciting the game becomes when you forget you were the player in the first place. It doesn't matter, it's just a game. You will wake up eventually with lessons learned, friendships made and new experiences under your belt.

Now pressed again facing eternity what are you going to do? What to create next? That is what will challenge you once you get past the confusion between the character you became and the one playing said character.

Your physical life was just a person in a story that finally woke up. Where you must face the real you. Who do you think that real you actually is after reading this?

You should be able to answer that question for yourself. It becomes quite obvious really.
