Thank you, Maiv.

When people attack an individual, others - previously unable to affect on their own - use the same avenues of attack and attacks become more frequent and the damage cumulative. As you are aware, that is how opportunistic diseases originate. The first assault weakens the host (HIV, for example) and other pathogens exploit the pathways. The gaps previously unrealized.

I am often, within my own life, reminded of a Juan story where he casually discussed a sorcerer that was surrounded by the local villagers and slain. While a sorcerer may be astoundingly powerful and may work on an entirely different level than individuals without shifted perceptions, he or she is also - secondary simply to the requirement of having a human body - every bit as vulnerable to assault as any other person. The thought that one hundred primitives with wooden sticks Will, eventually, win a battle against a single soldier with an M-16 comes to mind. Juan also talked - quite extensively - about how being a sorcerer was no different whatsoever than being a plumber, a football player, a truck driver or any other "-er". It was simply a shift to new perceptions and done by him to others for the singular reason of simply enacting a completely unfamiliar shift. New patterns, old patterns are shifted and, thus, the tonal is stalked. Otherwise, being a sorcerer was completely and vapidly useless and simply led to further obsession. Generally, led to further conflict as well as - with any profession - "being" a sorcerer meant new found abilities and "power".

Christ was torn apart by overwhelming masses. Pretty much as simple as that. Yes, he may very well have "instigated" the final conflicts for unknown reasons but, in the end, his body was destroyed by numbers. I have - in my life - found very few that were willing to stand up for "what is right" - very few that were willing at the Moment needed - to assist and support whomever is being assaulted for Doing right.

Perhaps none.

There are well wishes and support but At the Crux - the Fulcrum - most seem to fade away. Perhaps that is right, perhaps that is "what should be" - I don't know. My feelings, generally, are that most people are simply weak and timid - hangers on and basically in it for either the entertainment or the inclusion. And for many of those that Are willing to Fight in That Moment, one must be highly suspect that they are then doing so as a cult worship - essentially because the "leader" is a charismatic culty wacko, a la Hitler or David Koresh. No real reason to write this - believe it or not but it is actually unrelated to my previous post or to any "issues" I see here. Not the policeman and not the crosswalk guard - not my job. Just came to mind as I look at my own life and what I have Seen and read about with a few others. Good is rare, Good is punished and Juan was dead on when he said that all people - basically - were black magicians. MLK was shot in the jaw, Gandhi in the chest and how many nice and intelligent old women burned to death with white hot iron shoved up their ass while they screamed?

More than not. This world isn't Disneyland and it isn't what Disney taught. It isn't "Harry Potter" and - while perhaps wonderful as metaphors - life is often twisted, manipulated and brutal. There is Beauty and Magic - Love and Experience but it is also Very Harsh. More than "harsh" - it is Cruel. That is why Juan was so adamant about not being cruel - about treating the world with love, care and kindness. He was looking for a Total Shift - a Movement away from the human form and away from the physicality that is the Only tyrant any will ever face. Not because the world will return it when needed most - it will not and reflections are not stored "IOU's" - they are momentary reflections enhanced by our own energy at the moment.

Just a thought.

Peace,
William

So. On we go. YAW iteration perhaps number seven, now without some significant contributors. Even though it's quiet at the moment, I intend to pay the rent next month for another year, and see what can be done to energize the place.

Consider it a breath of fresh air, rather than lament any loss.
Is that so?

Hello William.

You are free to your opinions, but be warned...
