We Were Once Young

Fighting off the Bad Guys.

Is a fulltime job. You have to want to be right and then Be Right.
To even Attempt to fight that fight.

Why do we fight for the weaker when we are young?
Because we were the Stronger.

And the weak preyed on the weak.

Cops in the only courtroom most of us would ever see until older.
Much older.
Fighting through wave after wave of anger and unbelief.
Movies were made of us and books were written, their heroes only images of the Real Lives We Led.

I don't know who or what they did but it was a struggle the Spirit remembered.
And kept for Itself.
