Do you ever wonder why it is we get so scared of things that aren't real?

You are suggesting that Inorganics are not real? Or that dreams are not real?

They are not real. That is, they are not of waking reality. However, they happened...therefore, they are real. That tiger was goddamned real enough to cause me to jerk awake.
Is that so?

How 'bout when we meet them while awake, then?

I've not, that I'm aware of. I know Derek has.

I am actually a bit sorry to hear that you are still running from this stuff in your dreams...thought that got dealt with some years ago.

Coyote girl is here, so no doubt you know that my suggestion is to stand and face it down...but given that you are not all that inclined to live up to your avatar...

...seems you have a life choice to make John...to win over fear or to let fear win over you...which seems best for you?
Damn them life choices...just seem to be one right after another.

I've met them a few times IRL, in human form usually, though I'm fairly certain also that one of the ravens I am in contact with is inorganic.

Hi BlackCrow,………………your dog dream is interesting.
Is,nt it, funny how, the same things seem to happen, so often, to so many?

Regardless of the details of particular dreams, the sequence seems to be,……….. feral and/or scary, which, if met in a neutral or friendly manner, then becomes, friendly and affectionate.
This occurs, so often that, there appears to be, a definite pattern.

As I, have made very little progress with Dreaming, I can offer no useful advice, other than, don’t be scared, and, if, you are scared,……..fuck it, do it anyway, heheh,…………it’s “only” a dream, after all. Have a laugh with it.

Once “contact” is established it appears to be lasting.
Whether or not, such a relationship is desirable, I don’t know, but, it does require a sense of humour, to live with it, as the events revealed are inevitably negative.

I find it, delightfully absurd that, such a wonder has appeared in my life, as I have no conscious control of my dreams, i.e.; I am not, aware I am having a dream, and therefore, cannot exert control, or even, remember that I want to be aware, yet, they continue to serve up “miracles” to me. Why bother? What are their motives?

Strange stuff and truly wondrous, and, it seems to be available to anyone who desires it, regardless of what others may believe.
Comforting, all-inclusive, theories/philosophies, reek of wishful thinking. The human capacity for self-delusion, is well documented. Understanding is very limited. Perception, it seems, is not. The unknown, does not, yield to rationality.

Dreamed of these dogs again last night. This tiem there were many of them, they were a bit smaller and I realized right away they meant no harm, so they became friendly, affectionate even and it was soon apparent that they meant to be of assistance to me in this dream.

Hmm...

I've had them get really affectionate, lying on me, rolling around, quite often taking my hand in their mouth. A few them have even talked, but I wake up and all I can remember is that they talked, not what about.
Is that so?

And, have you made a decision on whether or not you are going to deal with it, or continue to let it rule you? One thing is for certain, if you do nothing it will continue to rule your life...sleeping or awake.

I don't have a problem with fear. I find it to be a fine learning tool. How about you?

I bet some part of you remembers though, it's in you somewhere!

A little addendum re The Tiger

This was not a dream...I'm not sure what it was. Before sleep, I was considering possible ways to deal with The Tiger were he to reappear, sort of a rehearsal. I imagined myself as I had been in the dream, facing him at about 30 paces, the two of us looking at one another. This time, I refrained from throwing anything in his direction. Others had suggested looking away from him as he approached, but I decided I wanted to see him so I continued to look him in the eye, something I know at least in dealing with bears is not a good idea.

He approached then reared but rather than just his mouth opening, he seemed to open entirely and then engulfed me. There was no sensation, no fear, no nothing really, just a sense of being engulfed and it was a sort of darkness but what followed was interesting...a series of visuals, not objects, more like starburst sort of things that happen when eyes are first closed in the dark...a series of visuals continued and I watched.

That was it. I "came back", and I wondered if that was going to be the end of my dealings with The Tiger.
Is that so?

Hi all,...............it is my personal belief that, the form percieved, is a direct reflection of how we feel towards IOBs.

As, our attitudes change, so, the forms encountered reflect that change.
It will be interesting to see what develops from your recent "encounter", G.

I do not think, this represents any kind of ending,...............hopefully, quite, the reverse, but then, that, may depend on how sincerely you "project your desire for friendship".
We'll see. Most interestng though, as are, all these dreams involving animals.

Perhaps understandably, I find this thread fascinating, and hope it continues.
