The mind is a sense organ; dharmas are its object.
The two are like spots on a mirror.
Once the dust is rubbed off, the light begins to appear.
When both mind and dharmas are forgotten, this is the true nature

Mind is the faculty, things are the objects;
Both are like flaws on a mirror.
When the defilement of objects is obliterated, the light first appears.
When mind and things are both forgotten, nature is real.
