Sorry I gotta break this one down into parts I understand (Im not too bright today...too hot)
Can we decide to stop looking into mirrors? Im not sure that is possible, I mean that in the most literal sense btw...if one is miserable and not sure why everyone around them is so _____ (evil, lazy, asleep, mean, etc.) one is looking into a mirror but not acknowleging that in fact that is a mirror...just because a person is in denial doesnt mean that the reflection is not theirs, just that they dont recognize themselves. I wonder...does one have to recognize and accept? Or just recognize...and wonder... (oh btw cant get into chat for some reason)

Perhaps self denial / not recognizing one's self, is the "asleep" definition. This lethargic concept does delude things. It's simply being unaware. There's nothing wrong with being unaware. Just like there's nothing right about being aware. Awareness happens in the moment and speaking from my experience, becoming aware is as sudden as anything I can imagine. It’s every-thing that allows us to recognize the uncovering of what is to be aware. Be, in what you are aware of. Close your eyes to what you are not aware of.
