Similar species: C. fischer (I have no Cusco records) is very similar except for having the FW cellspot restricted to bottom half of cell (as in C. placens).

Similar species: Note lack of bluish frosting at VHW apex (C. morsa and C. saladin culta have frosting) and the lack of a 'sullied' area VFW below the apical spots shown by C. longirostris.

Fairly common up to 1350 m., most common at lower elevations. Attracted to bait and spitwads; occasionally visits flowers.
Similar species: The contrasting rectangular 'sullied' patch VFW below the apical spots combined with relatively lack of bluish frosting at VHW apex is apparently distinctive.

Similar species: Similar to C. saladin culta but VHW base is clear cream, lacking bluish sheen.
