Epargyreus dicta
Uncommon(?) up to 1350 m. Found inside forest. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: DFW spot in space 2 overlaps cellspot, unlike E. spina spina. VHW white spot larger than E. socus sinus.
Epargyreus socus sinus
Uncommon(?) at 1050(higher, lower?) m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Shape of white spot VHW might be distinctive; I'm not very confident identifying this species. DFW spot in space 2 overlaps cellspot, unlike E. exadeus exadeus.
Epargyreus exadeus exadeus
Fairly common up to 1050 m. Attracted to bait and spitwads.
Similar species: White spot VHW is smaller than E. spina spina but larger than E. clavicornis clavicornis, which are the other species with no overlap between spot in space 2 and cellspot DFW.
Epargyreus spina spina
Uncommon(?) up to 1050 m. Found inside forest; attracted to bait and spitwads.
Similar species: Palpi paler than E. spinta (I have no Cusco records). White spot VHW is larger than E. clavicornis clavicornis and E. exadeus exadeus, which are the other species with spots in space 2 and cell DFW not overlapping.
Epargyreus clavicornis clavicornis
Rare(?) up to 550(higher?) m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: VHW white spot smaller and more broken up than other Epargyreus; most similar to E. exadeus exadeus. Cellspot DFW not overlapped by spot in space 2.
