Perichares deceptus

Uncommon 1000-1350 m. Most active at dusk (and dawn?). Attracted to bait and spitwads. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.

Similar species: [none]

Perichares adela

Common up to 1350 m., probably higher. Most active at dawn and dusk. Attracted to bait and spitwads.

Similar species: P. lotus (I have no Cusco records) has much smaller dark apical spots VFW. The taxonomy of adela and related taxa is confusing; there may be other similar species in Cusco but I don't know how to distinguish them.
