Thracides panimeron
Fairly common 1050-1350 m. Usually found inside humid forest. Attracted to bait and spitwads.
Similar species: T. cleanthes and T. thrasea (I have no Cusco records of either) can be similar but both have red end of abdomen. Other Thracides lack the red 'collar' and are not as black overall.
Thracides nanea
Uncommon(?) up to 850 m. Interior of humid forest. Attracted to spitwads and bait.
Similar species: See T. panimeron. T. nida (probably doesn't occur in Cusco) has a hyaline spot in space 3 FW.
Thracides phidon
Uncommon up to 1050 m. Attracted to spitwads and bait.
Similar species: Overall V pattern recalls Calpodes species, but note red eye among ohter differences.
