Unommon(?) up to 550(higher?) m. Found in forest.

Similar species: Vettius triangularis (I have no Cusco records) lacks the cellspot FW; more subtly, the distal edge of the white area VHW is obviously stepped from spaces 1 to 3 in V. lafresnaye pica.
