Methona confusa
Uncommon(?) up to 700 m.; probably more common in lowlands. Occasionally attracted to bait, flowers, and spitwads. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: Virtually identical to M. curvifascia; perhaps the only difference is that male curvifascia has a pair of small spikes (part of the genetalia) visible at the end of the abdomen. Others? Compare also with Thyridia psidii ino, and wtih Patia orise, which is a Pierid with six functional legs, among other differences.
